My stay at Playa Negra Brewing Beachfront Hotel in Puerto Viejo was a mixed bag. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the beach and town, but I experienced some communication issues with the staff. While the beach was nice, I was disappointed that the kitchen I reserved wasn’t available, and the communal kitchen lacked basic cleanliness. Overall, I enjoyed the potential of the place, but there were a few hiccups that detracted from the experience.
